As our early-season snow begins to fall here in Lake Tahoe, our minds naturally shift to “winter mode”, and when winter is on the mind, so is Skiing/Snowboarding! So how long until we can gear up and hit the mountain? The jury is still out as to whether or not we can expect a “big” winter season with a lot of snowfall, but ski resorts in Lake Tahoe and the surrounding area have already announced opening dates. So, for now, we can at least mark our calendars, dust off the ole’ ski gear, and start praying for snow.
